These Terms of Service govern your use of Muslih together with our Privacy Policy and AI Disclaimer, both incorporated by reference. Please read all three before creating an account.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Muslih, an AI-assisted companion app for couples (the “Service”), operated by Syed Nadeem Ahmed (“we,” “us,” or “the Operator”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and AI Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Muslih helps couples communicate and reflect together using an AI-assisted counselor, Muslih, and an individual AI companion named Nikky (“friend mode”). Features include paired counseling sessions, session summaries and follow-up check-ins, relationship insights, and an AI companion chat. The Service is provided on an evolving, “as available” basis and features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Muslih, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

The Service uses artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) to generate responses, summaries, insights, and recommendations. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Neither Muslih (our AI counselor) nor Nikky (our AI companion) is a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical provider, and the Service is not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or legal advice. Muslih offers a free tier alongside paid subscription plans (currently Silver, Gold, and Platinum). Paid subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play) and renew automatically unless cancelled through your store settings; prices and plan features are shown in the app before you purchase. We may change plan pricing or features prospectively, with clear notice before any change applies to an existing subscription.
Fair use on unlimited plans. Where a plan is described as “unlimited” (for example, unlimited counseling sessions, Joint Sessions, or companion chat), “unlimited” refers to the number of sessions and messages you may use — it is not a commitment to any particular underlying AI model. To keep the Service sustainable for everyone, unlimited usage is subject to reasonable fair-use thresholds: during periods of exceptionally heavy usage, responses may be generated by a lighter AI model until the applicable daily or monthly threshold resets. Your access is never blocked, sessions are never refused, and no feature included in your plan is removed under this policy. Individual sessions are also subject to a per-session time limit, after which you may simply begin a new session.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by the Operator and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the messages and content you submit, but you grant us a limited license to process, store, and use that content solely to provide and improve the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably possible.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, WILL BE ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by generally applicable principles of contract law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, pending designation of a specific governing jurisdiction. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings. This section may be updated to name a specific governing law and venue as the Service's operating jurisdiction is finalized.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
